This is my English 10 Honours novel study project. I chose to do Bill Bryson's book, A Walk in the Woods. He tells the story of his exhausting journey on the Appalachian Trail, the longest of its kind anywhere in the world. Bryson makes many humorous observations on North America and its people and culture. He also muses on nature in the twentieth century and mankind's determination to conquer.
